Saltaire Dragon Boats 2016

The 2016 edition of the annual Dragon Boat races along the River Aire at Saltaire attracted large crowds and turned into a great day out for participants and spectators alike. The event was chosen by the Lord Mayor of Bradford as a fundraiser for her chosen charity.

Now firmly established on the local calendar, as well as providing an excellent day out for many, The Saltaire Dragon Boat Races is a superb fundraiser and also an opportunity for people of all backgrounds and cultures to come together.
Thousands enjoyed the day as the sun shone over Saltaire's lovely Roberts Park and the River Aire sparkled.
The event was jointly run by Bradford Council and Race the Dragon and organised by the enthusiastic John Galt.
